Company Wheels

For you auto aficionados, we thought there might be some interest in what the firm's Managing Director currently has in his collection. Enjoy! (Please note that this is a ghost page that cannot be found from the company's main website.)

1997 Porsche 911 Turbo ("ZEN ONE")
Representing the last of the classic air-cooled Porsches, the 1997 Turbo is widely considered by automotive enthusiasts as the best 911 ever produced. From its classic lines, which directly inspired the current 911's design, to its bullet-proof engineering, the 1997 Turbo represents the end of a series personally overseen by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche himself. Only 612 of these cars were imported into North America that year. This particular vehicle was heavily modified at the Porsche factory with its custom amethyst paint (Paint Code 999) and full custom leather magenta interior (Code 99). Everything that can be covered in leather was from the visor and the dash buttons to the headliner and speaker grills. It represents one of the most heavily customized cars ever produced by Porsche's Exklusiv program.

Update: TechArt Germany has certified that this special car received its rare TECHART Engine Upgrade TA 093/01. This performance upgrade includes a European ECU, sport exhaust system, oil cooler system (GT2-style) and sport air filter system. A TechArt suspension was also installed. The power increases output at the wheels from 408hp to 442hp. TechArt is one of the very few tuners recognized as an independent automotive manufacturer by the German government.

A streetable version of the super-exotic Porsche 959, the 1997 Turbo can hit 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 192 mph. (This car is considerably faster due to the TechArt modifications.) All of this is backed by a bullet-proof engine, all-wheel drive, and a six speed manual transmission. Demonstrating its purpose-built intentions, this is the very last year the Porsche Turbo was offered without a single cup holder! The car has a Certificate of Authenticity from the CEO of Porsche North America and is well known in automotive circles throughout North America.

1998 Porsche 911 C4S ("ZEN TWO")
This rare bird represents the final year of the famous 993 production run and only 299 C4S Carreras were manufactured. Many Porsche aficionados regard the 1998 C4S as the greatest normally aspirated Porsche
911 ever manufactured because of its styling and superior craftsmanship. In the highly desirable color combination of Ocean Blue Metallic over Cashmere, this stunning example was outfitted with several notable options from the factory: Aero II front and rear wings, special rigid tuned chassis, stainless steel exhaust, sports seats, motor sound package, hi-fi sound package, and more. In addition, the car has a fully remapped suspension system that drops the car to within inches of the road. This remarkable specimen has a Certificate of Authenticity from the CEO of Porsche North America.

1993 GMC Typhoon ("A Black TY Affair")
Representing genuine exotic American muscle direct from the factory, this Detroit classic is a cross between a Porsche Turbo and a Cadillac Escalade. Lauded by Car and Driver as a "supercar with 67 cubic feet of space", the vehicle specs are astounding and represent awpe25.jpg (52126 bytes) precursor for the current trend of slammed vehicles: 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds, all-wheel drive, turbo-charged & intercooled 4.3L V6, 50 series tires, special edition bodywork and leather interior, custom wheels, etc. Faster than the Porsche Carrera, Chevrolet Corvette, and Ferrari 348TS of its day, this rare vehicle represents one of only 2,200 Typhoons built by GMC in 1993. (Due to its limited production and high performance, these supercars were scooped up by auto aficionados including Clint Eastwood, Tim Allen, John F. Kennedy Jr., and Ken Griffey Jr.) A decade later, the Typhoon still remained the world's quickest production SUV ever made.

After an extensive search, this particular vehicle was found in Kentucky in 2000 with only 2,850 authenticated miles on the odometer. The original owner, an astute collector, was quick to notice that the undercarriage had been signed by the build crew and that the vehicle contains some prototype parts. This fact is currently being documented by General Motors historians. Stay tuned for future developments!

1987 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z Convertible 20th Anniversary ("Classic Rock")
Chevrolet sponsored the International Race of Champions throughout most of the 1980s and, to celebrate its role, created the Camaro IROC-Z. With its 5.0 liter high output engine, sticky suspension, and special bodywork, the Z-28 IROC-Z wpe22.jpg (5696 bytes) was specifically designed to provide a true racing experience. In 1987, to commemorate the Camaro's inception 20 years earlier, Chevy stunned the world by reintroducing a convertible variant -- the first Camaro droptop since 1969 and the first convertible Z-28 ever! This milestone year also marked the introduction of an optional 5 speed transmission (adding 25 more horsepower due to a special cam) as well as the highly acclaimed, Corvette-based Tuned Port Injection engine for the IROC line.

Reliable sources report that "Classic Rock" is a very rare specimen, representing one of only 120 IROC-Z convertibles manufactured that year with the ultra-desirable, high performance "police package". Furthermore, 1987 represents the lowest production figures for the IROC-Z convertible as this was a mid-year model introduction. This particular car is heavily optioned which is not altogether surprising since this factory-ordered vehicle was first driven by a General Motors senior executive. Authenticity has been verified by both General Motors Media Archives as well as the most recent Camaro brand manager.

2007 Audi S4 Avant ("ZEN WAGON")
Some of the fastest Audis on the road are actually... station wagons! (Yep, you read that right.) The avant, which means "wagon" in Audi-speak, is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Audi of North America imported a mere 1,600 S4 avants between 2001 and 2008. It is estimated that this black S4 wagon is one of only approximately 340 units brought into the United States in 2007, making it far rarer than the much more extroverted Audi R8!

The S4 avant features a 340 horsepower 4.2 liter V8 engine that's combined with the company's legendary all-wheel drive quattro system. The transmission on this particular vehicle is an automatic 6 speed with paddle shifters. The car can sprint from 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds. In summertime, this rare wagon is outfitted in genuine wheels from an Audi RS6 for a truly classic look.
