What
do you love most about your life?
The possibilities are almost limitless if you dare to dream. And every
single day is an adventure to be savored.
What’s the one thing
you’re most passionate about?
NEW EXPERIENCES! Life’s just one big, exhilarating learning curve. I
absolutely love meeting new people, traveling to new places, and immersing
myself in new cultures.
What’s your idea of a great first date?
A great first date is not about the context, but the content.
It’s about making a genuine connection so that the two of you become
completely and utterly lost in the moment.
Your ideal mate would
have what characteristics?
Highly intelligent (MENSA membership not required, but it would be hot!),
gorgeous, independent, fit, adventurous, compassionate, well-educated, wise,
financially secure, genuine, and worldly but down to earth.
One thing a potential girlfriend should know about
you?
I’m a true gentleman with a dollop of mischief, blended with a hint of
whimsy.
What’s a deal breaker for you on a date?
Ignorance
Daily habit you can’t and wouldn’t want to break?
Three things for a sound mind, body, and spirit. Each day I hit the gym
hard, constantly work to expand my understanding of the world around me, and
nurture my connections to the important people in my life.
You own too many . . .
Collector cars. While I’m a Porsche fan, I love everything from Italian
exotics to classic American Muscle.
Do you have pets?
Not at the moment, but I have a profound weakness for BIG, loveable dogs.
Life is so much more beautiful with a wagging tail in it!
Book or movie you’d recommend anyone to read or
watch?
“Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand.
Something surprising most people don’t know about
you?
I own two properties in the Bahamas. One is a pied a terre in a secluded
part of Nassau and the other is a waterfront lot on a private island located
just off of Paradise Island.
Secret Hollywood crush?
Nada. I prefer reality to smoke and mirrors.
Favorite vacation destination?
Excluding my “Bahamian Bias,” I’ve got a few faves: San Sebastian (Spain),
Venice and Florence, Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands (Caribbean),
and Santorini (Greece).
Ideal way to spend a hooky day?
It would likely involve a meandering drive to nowhere with a deliciously
fascinating woman. Spontaneity would be the main course with homemade ice
cream as a likely dessert.
What’s one of the most adventurous things you’ve
ever done?
Solo camping on my deserted beach in the Bahamas for 4 days. It was all
going surprisingly well until a summer squall unexpectedly hit at 3:30am
with 38 mph winds. Think Robinson Crusoe crossed with Cast Away and you’ll
get the gist!
INTERVIEW UPDATE!
The subtitle to this year's issue -- "they
won't stay single for long" -- was quite prophetic. We recently caught up
with David and learned that this is one bachelor that's no longer on the
market. (So we did hear hearts breaking up and down the Main Line!) David
reports that he's now happily involved with an incredibly special woman and
that the two of them just returned from a romantic trip to Harbour Island in
the Bahamas. Best of luck, David!
