Incorporated in 1991, but conceived in 1987, TWENTYSOMETHING
INC. is pleased to announce its 16th year anniversary. "We're
absolutely thrilled,"
says David Morrison, the firm's founder and president. "A
sweet sixteen is an especially wonderful milestone, particularly in the
consulting business. We are grateful to both our clients as well as the firm's
employees."
According to Morrison, the firm's very first customer was the Wharton School of Business
(at the University of Pennsylvania) in 1991. Word-of-mouth, in turn, quickly led to
highly visible projects with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as with Apple
Computer. "Within months of our 'formal' inception, our client base included a
leading consumer electronics maker, an Ivy League University, and a State," recalls
Morrison. "That set the stage for our accelerated growth." The firm
has now worked with over 40 Fortune 500s including such industry titans as Citibank,
Procter & Gamble, Kraft, Time Warner, Toyota, and Nokia. Non-profit clients now
include not only the Wharton School of Business, but also
multiple states and the U.S. federal government.
"Our mission, as it has been from the beginning," explains Morrison, "has
been two-fold. First, we need to surpass the needs and expectations of our clientele.
Simultaneously, it is equally important that we provide the voice of the customer, today's
15-34 year olds, to ensure that the market's needs are being fully met in an ever-changing
marketplace." It is safe to assume that Morrison and his company will continue to
shape the world of young adult marketing in the decades to come.
