David A. Morrison

A proven pioneer, David is an accomplished consultant, researcher, author, and speaker attuned to the business needs of his clients. The Washington Post hails him as "the consummate marketing insider." David earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Market Strategy & Consumer Behavior. Since 1986, he has been fostering mutual understanding between leading organizations and today's global youth market; he has consulted to over 50 Fortune 500 companies including Apple, Kraft, AT&T, McDonald's, Time Warner, Toyota and Procter & Gamble.

Daniel Jay
Vice President, Client Management

Dan has a storied career in brand management and client relationships based on past jobs at Procter & Gamble and Unilever. Prior to joining our firm, he was the Director of Marketing at Thomas J. Lipton & Company. (Dan's the visionary dude that brought herbal tea in the mainstream United States!) D.J. earned his MBA from Dartmouth in Marketing and his BA from Harvard in Sociology. He has consulted to such clients as the Government of Great Britain, Ford, Campbell Soup Company, Panasonic, and Unilever.

 

Manolo Barberena
Director, International Operations

A native of Jalapa Veracruz, Mexico, Manuel studied Political Science and Public Administration at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He went on to earn a Masters Degree in Political Science and Political Data Analysis at SUNY Binghamton as a Fulbright Scholar. His stellar career began as a consultant to several Mexican political parties and private organizations. Manuel is completely "business" bi-lingual in Spanish and English. Manolo has consulted to Wal-Mart, Ford, Kraft and P&G.

Michael Lieberman
Director, Statistics

Michael has taught statistics at City University of New York and the University of Georgia as an adjunct professor of statistics and market research. He holds a BA in mathematics from Rutgers University, an MA in International Affairs from George Washington University, and a MS in Statistics from Rutgers University. Michael has consulted to a range of organizations such as Microsoft, Frito Lay and Burger King.

Susan Deane
Senior Analyst, Qualitative Research

Susan first began her career on the client side at Cadbury Schwepes, Schick and Reckitt Benckiser where she spearheaded youth marketing initiatives. She earned her BA from York University in Marketing and has worked with a variety of organizations from Welch's to Heineken. A Canadian national, Susan is also a RIVA-certified moderator.

Michael Englisch
Senior Analyst of Emerging Trends & The Guru of Cool

Mike has an uncanny ability to identify trends years before they're discovered by most early adopters, let alone the mainstream! Prior to joining the firm, he was the founder of an innovative energy drink that won rave reviews within the industry. His background spans from packaged goods to banking. Mike earned his BS from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business in Business Administration. He is an Eagle Scout as well as a frequent speaker at Drexel University.
