Our Firm: Corporate History

Twentysomething Inc. was officially incorporated in 1991 as The Collegiate Marketing Company Inc., although the initial business plan was drafted in 1986 and corporate consulting began that year. Our original mission was towpe4.jpg (12917 bytes) help Corporate America more effectively (and efficiently) target the student market through increased understanding. After working with the University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School), the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, AT&T and Apple Computer in rapid succession, we expanded our focus to include the larger young adult market at our clients' request by mid-1991. During the summer of 1997, the firm legally changed its corporate name to reflect its broader market focus.

The firm's headquarters are located on Philadelphia's prestigious "Main Line" amidst 600 acre estates that can be directly traced to William Penn (founder of the proprietary colony of Pennsylvania in America). King of Prussia is 12 miles due west of historic Philadelphia and surrounded by a plethora of colleges and universities including: University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, Bryn Mawr College, Cabrini College, Drexel University, Eastern College, Haverford College, Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, Rosemont College, St. Joseph's University, Swarthmore College, Temple University, Valley Forge Military Academy, and many others.

In fact, the metro-Philadelphia area contains one of the largest college markets within the United States with over 250,000 students spread across 88 institutions of higher education.
