ARTICLE PIRATED ON AMAZON.COM
"BrandPackaging" Cover Story Being Resold Without Permission

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, March 25, 2005, Philadelphia, PA — An exclusive cover story written for BrandPackaging by the firm's president is being illegally sold on Amazon.com by a presently unknown party. Published in June 2004 and highly lauded, the article was part book excerpt and part custom content for maximum reader impact. The illegal reprint was caught being offered as an electronic, 8-page downloadable article.

TWENTYSOMETHING Inc. has duly notified the publisher of BrandPackaging which, upon investigation, reports that the parent company has already engaged in two lawsuits along similar themes with different parties. The magazine publisher went on to state that illegal reprints and name hijacking, as BrandPacking's name appears on the Amazon website, is starting to become an epidemic within the magazine industry. It is reportedly the first time that Stagnito Communications, parent company of BrandPackaging, has had to contend with the theft of its trade dress on such a grand scale. Ditto for the author's intellectual property and trade dress.

A full investigation has been launched on behalf of the article's author by Stagnito Communications. Amazon.com has also been duly appraised that such illegal activity is taking place on its website. Should the unauthorized reseller be caught by Stagnito's team of attorneys, TWENTYSOMETHING Inc. reserves the option of pursuing legal action independent of BrandPackaging for unlawful use of both intellectual property as well as trade dress. TWENTYSOMETHING Inc. vigilantly protects its tangible and intangible assets and will pursue criminal prosecution to the fullest extent of U.S. and international law.
